Kikyou looks up at him, "I am so sorry for everything. I didn't even realize he was lying to me until today...I thought....I guess I don't really know what I was thinking. I just know that I owe you an apology."

He considered something. "I will accept your apology on one condition."

"What is the condition?" Kikyou inquires.

"Come with me to the palace. I wish to show you something."

"Alright." Kikyou replies.

He led her out, walking beyond the trees. "Cars can be toublesome..." He asked, "Do you think you could keep up with my running speed?"

"I'll try to." Kikyou responds.

"Follow me." He broke into a fast run, surpasing the speeds of cars.

Kikyou runs after him, not too far behind him. She was surprised she could even run that fast.

Sesshoumaru ran for a few more miles before stopping at the palace. "You'll have to do something before all."

Kikyou stops running, "What do I have to do?"

He looked at her, "Go to one of the bethrooms in the other rooms and bathe. Clothes will be there for you when you finish. What I will show you is something undoubtly extremely sacred to me."

Kikyou nods and walked into a nearby bedroom. Placing her things on the bed. She walks into the barthroom and notices a bath had been prepared. She strips off her clothes folding them and steps into the bath.

Sesshoumaru sent white garments to her room before going to his own and taking his bath.

Kikyou bathes and steps out of the bath drying herself off with a towel. She notice the white clothing. She picks it up and begins to dress herself.

Sesshoumaru waited patiently at her door.

Kikyou steps out of the room and looks to Sesshoumaru expectantly.

Sesshoumaru fixed his hair into a knot as he led her to his gardens. He told her, "Look at the two stones over there. Those are the things I find most precious to me."

Kikyou looks at the stones, 'What do the stones represent?"

"The inscriptions will tell you."

Kikyou walks up to the stones. She starts to read the inscriptions.

'Rin. 1497-1557' The other said, 'Kohaku. 1494-1549' Flowers were strewn around them.

Kikyou silently looks at the graves, "This must the two you were talking about earlier."

He nodded. "They changed me in a way I never believed was possible. They were like a son and daughter to me, and I watched their life develpment, even until the end."

Kikyou gives a silent prayer to them. She looks to Sesshoumaru, "Do you know where their descendants are?"
